The site has more info about Cleveland’s districts, buildings, companies, and images of the city.
It also has information on other cities, but who cares, right?
1. Cleveland boasts America’s first traffic light. It began on Aug. 5, 1914
2. Cleveland gets nearly 10 million annual visitors.
3. Cleveland is in Cuyahoga County which is named after the Cuyahoga River, which means “crooked river” in Iriquois.
4. East 105th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland was the site of the first pedestrian button for the control of a traffic light. The boy chosen for the 1948 newsreel to demonstrate its operation was Louis Spronze.
5. Cleveland became the world’s first city to be lighted electrically in 1879.
6. Jesse Owens grew up in Cleveland. He won four gold medals in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
7. National media began referring to Cleveland as “the mistake on the lake.”
8. In studies conducted by The Economist in 2005, Cleveland and Pittsburgh were ranked as the most livable cities in the United States.
9. Nicknames for the city include “The Forest City,” “The Cleve,” “Sixth City,” and “C-Town.”
10. The tallest building in Cleveland is the 57-story Key Tower, which rises 948 feet in Cleveland’s Public Square.

We’re a bit late on this, but Mike Holmgren, of Packers and Seahawks fame, seems to be atop Randy Lerner’s wishlist for GM/VP of Football Operations.
Holmgren may seem like a pipe-dream to some, but I believe he is a realistic, attainable option, unlike Cowher last year. To make matters better, he reportedly has an itch to get back into football.
If he were to take the job, it would be a position similar to that of Bill Parcells in Miami. This means a huge amount of power for Holmgren, which is another attractive offer for the Super Bowl winner.
All in all, if this is possible, Lerner needs to make it happen. It’s been a while since we’ve had someone who can scout talent in the front office, and it would be a nice change of pace.
-Chris Rock, during the Cleveland/New York game on ESPN
I was going to say something negative about ESPN interviewing NYC celebrities who all think LeBron will go to NYC. Fortunately Chris Rock broke the tension.
